She Loves Me Flowers is a painting that blooms with love, capturing a sweet chapter of my life as a mom. The inspiration for this piece came from my five-year-old daughter, whose tiny hands were always full of flowers. Whether we were on a walk or simply exploring our backyard, she would collect every bloom she found, bringing them to me with a sparkle in her eye. "These are for you, Mama. You can paint them!" she’d say.
Her little bouquets became my muse. There was something so pure and romantic about the way she saw the world—how every flower was a treasure, every petal a gift. It was as if she wanted to fill our home with the same warmth and beauty she felt when discovering those blooms. So, I set out to capture that feeling on canvas.
She Loves Me Flowers is a joyful blend of peonies and roses, painted in soft shades of pink, red, and white, surrounded by lush green foliage. I used highly pigmented inks and acrylics, layering colors to bring depth and life to each petal. The painting is gently varnished to preserve its vibrant hues, ensuring the flowers remain as lively as the day they were painted.
